What stays on your PC
Everything about your games. Every saved and finished game, every move, your replays, streaks, records, achievements and solver answers are stored in CardTray's own folder on this PC. None of it is uploaded, and none of it is shared through the bandwidth exchange.
What leaves it, and what cannot
Crash reports and usage analytics are anonymous and opt-out, and both are switched in Settings → Privacy & diagnostics. The section's own description is the guarantee: CardTray never sends file names, file paths, seeds or move logs — only a module id, the public variant name, and coarse result and duration buckets.
So an analytics event can say "a Klondike game was won in a few minutes". It cannot say which deal it was, what moves you made, or your exact score or time.
An install signal is sent on first launch. It carries a random install id and the app version, never files, URLs or anything about your games. It is opt-out too: Reinstall / Uninstall analytics in the same section. The installer and uninstaller also send a signal with the same id when CardTray is installed or removed; that one is not controlled by the switch.
The Daily Challenge reminders are created on your PC and carry no deal, seed or score.
The bandwidth sharing
Covered in How CardTray is funded. It relays other parties' traffic; it has no access to your games or your files.
The full policy is linked from Settings → About → Privacy policy, and the installer links the same document on its License Agreement page.
