How to Play Moving Left Solitaire

A double-deck variant with a waste pile for stock dealing and a ten-column tableau, combining classic solitaire mechanics with larger scope and deeper strategy. The goal: Build all 104 cards onto eight foundation piles in suit from Ace to King.
Setup
- Two standard decks are shuffled together (104 cards).
- Eight foundation piles are placed to collect cards by suit.
- Ten tableau piles are created: the first gets 1 card, the second gets 2 cards, and so on up to 10 cards per pile.
- All tableau cards are dealt face down except the top card of each pile, which is face up.
- A waste pile holds cards dealt from the stock.
How to play
- Move cards from the tableau or waste pile to the foundations, building up in suit from Ace to King.
- In the tableau, build down by rank with opposite colors (a red 7 goes on a black 8).
- Move sequences together if each card is one rank lower and opposite color from the card above it.
- Fill empty tableau piles only with Kings or sequences starting with Kings. When a pile empties, the movable run from the pile to its right automatically shifts left.
- Click the stock to deal one card to the waste pile. You get one pass through the deck.
- Only the top card of the waste pile can be played to the tableau or foundations.
- When a card no longer fits in the tableau, it moves to the foundations automatically (you can adjust this in Settings).
How to win
Objective: Build all 104 cards onto eight foundation piles in suit from Ace to King.
You win when all cards are built onto the eight foundations. You're stuck when no more cards can move and you've dealt through the stock.
Tips
- Expose face-down cards by moving sequences strategically.
- Watch the waste pile—sometimes you'll need to hold off playing cards to the foundations to use waste pile cards later.
- Create empty tableau piles with Kings to free up sequences and maneuver through the larger layout.
