Klondike
How to Play Octuple Klondike Solitaire

Octuple Klondike scales the classic Klondike game to eight complete decks and 26 tableau piles, creating a challenging puzzle that requires a large monitor to play comfortably. The goal: Move all 416 cards (8 decks × 52 cards) to 32 foundation piles, one suit per pile.
Setup
- Twenty-six tableau piles are dealt: 1 card to the first pile, 2 to the second, up to 26 cards in the final pile. Only the top card of each pile is face up.
- Thirty-two foundation piles cover the four suits across all eight decks (eight piles per suit), building from Ace to King in each.
- A stock pile holds the remaining cards. Click to deal 3 cards at a time to a waste pile.
How to play
- Play Aces to the foundations as you find them.
- Build tableau piles by placing cards one rank lower in opposite colors.
- Move entire sequences together if properly ordered (each card one rank lower and opposite color).
- Play from the waste pile to the tableau or foundations.
- Use empty tableau piles strategically—only Kings can go there.
- When the stock runs out, click it again to turn the waste pile back over (you can do this unlimited times).
- Matching cards move to the foundations automatically once no other card could be built on them; you can adjust this behavior in Settings.
How to win
Objective: Move all 416 cards (8 decks × 52 cards) to 32 foundation piles, one suit per pile.
You win when all 416 cards reach the 32 foundation piles. Since the stock can be turned back over and redealt as many times as you like, you can keep playing as long as any legal move remains on the board.
Tips
- This game requires significant screen real estate. Arrange your window or monitor resolution accordingly.
- Empty tableau piles are precious and should only receive Kings, so plan carefully.
- Focus on uncovering hidden cards early to increase available plays.
