Klondike
How to Play Quintuple Klondike Solitaire

Klondike stretched across five full decks and 20 tableau piles, an extreme variant that rewards patience and careful, wide-scale planning. The goal: Move all 260 cards to the 20 foundation piles.
Setup
- Deal the first card to the first tableau pile, 2 to the second, 3 to the third, and so on through 20 piles (face up only the top card of each).
- Place the remaining 50 cards in the stock.
How to play
- Build foundations upward in suit from Ace through King.
- Build tableau piles downward in alternating colors (red on black, black on red).
- Move sequences of cards together when each card is one rank lower and opposite color.
- Only Kings fill empty tableau piles.
- Click the stock to deal 3 cards at a time to the waste.
- When the stock empties, click it to turn the waste over for unlimited redeals.
- Cards automatically move to the foundations once no other card could be built on them (you can change this behavior in Settings).
How to win
Objective: Move all 260 cards to the 20 foundation piles.
You win when all cards are on the foundations. The massive scale makes planning and patience essential.
Tips
- Map out which piles block each other before making moves.
- Prioritize exposing deeply buried cards in the taller starting piles.
- With five decks in play, multiple copies of each rank are available, so don't be afraid to use one you see now.
