How to Play Tripleharp Solitaire

Twelve tableau piles are dealt in a staircase from one card up to twelve, backed by a stock that feeds the waste pile through three redeals. Work through both areas to build all 156 cards onto the 12 foundations.
Setup
- Use three full decks (156 cards total)
- Arrange 12 tableau piles with a staircase pattern: 1 card face-up in the first pile, 2 in the second, and so on to 12 cards
- Only the top card of each tableau pile shows initially; others are face-down
- Set up 12 foundation piles (one per suit, three of each)
- Place remaining cards in the stock
How to play
- Build foundations from Ace up to King in the same suit; cards move to the foundations automatically once no other card could be built on them
- On the tableau, place a card one rank lower and opposite color on top of another card
- Only the top card of each tableau pile can be moved
- Only a King can fill an empty tableau pile
- Click the stock to deal one card to the waste; you get four passes through the stock (three redeals total)
- Play cards from the waste onto the tableau or foundations
How to win
Objective: Move all cards to the foundations in ascending order by suit
You win when all 156 cards are built into the foundations. You're stuck when no cards can move and you have no stock passes left.
Tips
- Your three redeals are limited, so plan which cards to save for later draws
- Exposing tableau cards by moving top cards creates opportunities for buried cards
- Balance playing from the waste with tableau moves to maximize flexibility
