Klondike
How to Play Double Klondike Solitaire

Double Klondike scales up the familiar Klondike shape to two shuffled-together decks, nine tableau piles, and eight foundations, with unlimited redeals to keep working through the stock. The goal: Move all 104 cards to the eight foundations
Setup
- Eight foundation piles wait for Aces, one per suit from each of the two decks
- Nine tableau piles rise in size: 1 card in the first, 2 in the second, up to 9 in the last, with only the top card of each pile face up
- The rest of the deck sits in the stock, ready to deal to a waste pile
How to play
- Build each foundation up from Ace to King in the same suit
- Cards move to the foundations automatically once they can't be built anywhere else; you can change this behavior in Settings
- In the tableau, build downward in alternating colors (red on black, black on red)
- Move a card, or a run that follows the color pattern, between tableau piles
- When you clear a face-up card off a pile, the face-down card beneath turns face-up automatically
- Click the stock to deal 3 cards to the waste—only its top card is playable
- Empty tableau piles can be filled only with a King
- When the stock runs out, click it again to turn the waste back over as a new stock; you can redeal as many times as you need
How to win
Objective: Move all 104 cards to the eight foundations
You win when all cards reach the foundations. Since redeals are unlimited, you're only stuck when no move is possible even after another pass through the stock.
Tips
- Create empty piles early to gain access to buried cards
- You can move the top card of a foundation pile back into the tableau if you need it
