How to Play Endless Harp Solitaire

2 min read
The opening deal of Endless Harp Solitaire, laid out on a green felt table.

A two-deck Klondike-like game with unlimited redeals. Flip three cards at a time from the stock and enjoy the freedom to cycle through it again and again.

Setup

  1. Deal cards in a triangular pyramid to 10 tableau piles (1 to the first, 2 to the second, and so on)
  2. Only the top card of each pile faces up; all others face down
  3. Place 8 foundation piles ready to build on
  4. Keep the remaining 49 cards in the stock

How to play

  • Build tableau piles in descending order with opposite colors (red on black, black on red)
  • Move entire runs together when each card follows the alternating-color pattern
  • Click the stock to deal three cards to the waste pile
  • Play the top waste card to tableau or foundations
  • Empty tableau spaces accept only Kings
  • When the stock is empty, click it again to turn the waste pile back over as a new stock (unlimited times)
  • Matching cards move to the foundations automatically when they can't be built on the tableau

How to win

Objective: Move all cards to the eight foundations by suit in ascending order starting with Aces.

You win when all 104 cards are on the foundations. Since redeals are unlimited, you're stuck only when no moves are left anywhere, even after turning the waste back over.

Tips

  • Expose more buried cards by moving runs strategically
  • Use the unlimited redeals to try different sequences without penalty
  • Plan moves that will unblock high-value cards in tableau piles
