How to Play Suit Triangle Solitaire

Suit Triangle is a two-deck variant with a triangular tableau and same-suit building rules. The pyramid layout of hidden and visible cards adds depth to classic Klondike gameplay.
Setup
- The stock and waste pile operate with three-card draws: click the stock to deal three cards to the waste at once.
- Eight foundation piles await Aces to begin building sequences by suit.
- The tableau is laid out as a triangle: the first pile has 1 card, the second has 2 cards, the third has 3, and so on up to 10 cards total. Only the top card of each pile is face up; the rest are hidden.
How to play
- Click the stock to draw three cards to the waste pile; only the top card of the waste is playable.
- Look for Aces to start foundation piles by suit.
- Build on the tableau downward by one rank in the same suit (e.g., 5♠ on 6♠).
- You can move a single card or an entire sequence of cards if they form a valid run (each card one rank lower, same suit).
- When a card is removed from the tableau, the card beneath it flips face up, becoming available.
- Only a King can fill an empty pile in the tableau.
- When the stock runs out, click it again to turn the waste back over as a new stock—you can cycle through unlimited times.
- Qualifying cards move to the foundations automatically once no other card could be built on them.
How to win
Objective: Move all 104 cards to the eight foundations, building each suit from Ace to King.
You win by moving all 104 cards to the foundations. You're stuck when no more cards can be played and no useful moves remain.
Tips
- Prioritize exposing face-down cards in the tableau—these hidden cards are often crucial to breaking deadlocks.
- Build long sequences in the tableau to move multiple cards at once and create working space.
- Use the waste pile as temporary storage, but remember you can only play its top card, so cycling through the stock strategically is key.
