How to Play Double Easthaven Solitaire

This larger take on Easthaven mixes two decks together across eight tableau piles and eight foundations. Uncover the buried cards while building down in alternating colors, knowing the stock only comes around once.

Setup

1. Eight foundation piles wait empty, one for each suit in each of the two decks
2. Eight tableau piles each start with three cards: the bottom two face-down, the top one face-up
3. The rest of the cards wait in the stock for a single deal-through

How to play

• Build each foundation up from Ace to King in the same suit
• Cards move to the foundations automatically once they can't be built anywhere else on the tableau; you can change this behavior in Settings
• In the tableau, build downward in alternating colors (red on black, black on red)
• Move a single card or a whole run between tableau piles as long as the color pattern holds
• When you clear a face-up card off a pile, the face-down card beneath it turns face-up automatically
• Click the stock to deal one card to each tableau pile
• Empty tableau spaces can be filled with any card or run
• You can move the top card of a foundation pile back into the tableau if you need it

How to win

Objective: Move all 104 cards to the eight foundation piles

You win when all cards reach the foundations. Since there's only one pass through the stock, you're stuck when you can't make more moves.

Tips

• Plan carefully before dealing from the stock, since you can't redeal these cards
• Focus on exposing face-down cards early in the game
• Create empty piles strategically to open up access to buried cards
