How to Play Giant Solitaire

A two-deck solitaire game combining tableau building with foundation building. Deal one card onto every tableau pile at once to keep options open throughout play.
Setup
- Deal one card to each of eight tableau piles (all face up).
- Eight foundation piles start empty—two for every suit, since two decks are in play—and each must be built up starting from an Ace.
- Keep remaining cards in the stock.
How to play
- Build on the tableau by placing cards one rank lower in opposite color (red on black, black on red).
- Move sequences to different tableau piles when each card in the sequence follows the correct rank and color pattern.
- Playable cards automatically move to the foundations when they can't be built elsewhere, though you can disable this in Settings. You can also manually move cards to foundations earlier if needed (building up by suit from Ace to King).
- Click the stock to deal one card onto each tableau pile whenever you want fresh cards in play.
- Fill empty tableau piles with any card or sequence.
- Once the stock is empty, you can also move the top card of a foundation back onto the tableau if you need it.
- Continue until all cards reach the foundations or no more moves exist (one pass through the stock only).
How to win
Objective: Move all 104 cards to eight foundation piles (two for each suit), building each one from Ace to King
Win by moving all 104 cards to the eight foundations. You lose when the stock runs out and no moves remain.
Tips
- Plan which cards to send to foundations early to keep tableau piles flexible.
- Empty tableau piles are valuable—use them strategically to rearrange sequences.
- Watch for opportunities to clear long runs in the tableau to make room for new stock deals.
