Klondike
How to Play Harp Solitaire

A two-deck Klondike variant with a nine-pile pyramid tableau where you build downward in opposite colors. Most tableau cards start hidden, and you can redeal the waste three times.
Setup
- Deal 9 tableau piles in a pyramid: pile 1 gets 1 card, pile 2 gets 2 cards, up to pile 9 with 9 cards
- Only the top card of each pile is face-up
- Create 8 empty foundation piles (two for each of the four suits, since two decks are in play)
- Set aside the remaining deck as the stock
How to play
- Draw from the stock one card at a time to the waste pile
- Build tableau piles downward: place a card one rank lower and opposite color on top of another
- Move only single cards between tableau piles (no sequences)
- Cards move to the foundations automatically once nothing else can be built on them (you can change this behavior in Settings); build in suit from Ace to King
- Fill empty tableau piles only with a King
- When stuck, redeal the waste: turn it over to become the new stock (you get three redeals total)
How to win
Objective: Build eight foundation piles in suit from Ace to King
Move all 104 cards to the eight foundation piles in suit sequences. You lose if all redeals are exhausted and no moves remain.
Tips
- Expose face-down cards by removing top tableau cards and taking them to foundations
- Save empty tableau spaces for Kings—they're essential to unblock piles later
- Be strategic with redeals; look ahead before exhausting one
