How to Play Yukon One Suit Solitaire

A relaxing variant that combines the Spades from four decks into one 52-card deck. With only one suit to worry about, you can focus on strategy and planning rather than color rules.
Setup
- Four foundation piles start empty—an Ace placed there begins each one, building up to Kings in Spades
- Seven tableau piles receive a mix of face-down and face-up cards, with the leftmost pile getting one face-up card and each successive pile getting one more face-down card plus five face-up cards
How to play
- Eligible Spades move automatically to the foundations once no other card can be built on them in the tableau, though you can adjust this behavior in Settings
- Build tableau piles in descending order by rank without color restrictions (any 7 onto any 8)
- You can move any group of face-up cards together as long as the bottom card of the group fits where it lands, even if the group isn't in strict order
- Empty tableau piles may only be filled with a King
- Expose hidden face-down cards by moving the face-up cards covering them
How to win
Objective: Move all 52 Spades to the four foundation piles in ascending order from Ace to King.
You win when all 52 Spades are arranged in the four foundation piles. You're stuck when no legal moves remain.
Tips
- Plan several moves ahead to uncover key face-down cards
- Since there's only one suit, focus on clearing tableau space to maneuver freely
- Build longer sequences in the tableau before moving them to the foundations when it improves your position
