How to Play Ten Across Solitaire

A tableau where every pile mixes face-down and face-up cards, plus two temporary cells where you can park single cards. Build by suit in the tableau while moving cards in and out of cells to set up foundation sequences.
Setup
- Deal cards across 10 tableau piles, each with its own mix of face-down and face-up cards
- Two cells start with one card each and can hold single cards as needed
- Four foundation piles are ready to receive Aces as they appear
How to play
- Build tableau piles down by rank (one lower) in the same suit
- Move any group of face-up cards together, even if they aren't in sequence—only the bottom card of the group has to fit where it lands
- Move cards to empty cells to free up blocked cards in the tableau
- Play cards from cells to the tableau or directly to the foundations when they fit
- Only Kings can be placed in empty tableau piles
- Qualifying cards move automatically to the foundations once they can't build on the tableau; you can change this behavior in Settings
How to win
Objective: Move every card to four foundation piles built by suit from Ace to King.
All 52 cards are on the four foundation piles. You're stuck if cards remain that can't be moved or freed.
Tips
- Use cells strategically to uncover buried cards in the tableau
- Save cell spaces for critical moves—don't waste them on cards you can move elsewhere
- Watch for early opportunities to start foundation sequences with Aces
