Pairing
How to Play Triple Fourteens Solitaire

Remove all cards from the board by pairing them to sum 14. Quick and tactical, this game challenges you to spot pairs and clear the board before buried cards become unreachable.
Setup
- Twenty-four tableau piles are arranged on the board
- All remaining cards are dealt out across the piles
- Only face-up, uncovered cards can be removed
How to play
- Look for pairs of uncovered cards that add up to 14: Ace and King (1+13), 2 and Queen (2+12), 3 and Jack (3+11), and so on
- Drag one card onto its partner to remove both cards
- As cards are removed, watch for new pairs that become available underneath
- Empty piles cannot be filled—they stay empty for the rest of the game
- Work strategically to avoid trapping valuable pairs under other cards
How to win
Objective: Clear every card off the board by removing pairs that total 14 (Ace counts as 1).
You win when all 156 cards are removed from the board. You're stuck when pairs remain but are blocked by other cards.
Tips
- Remove pairs from the top layers first to expose the buried cards below
- Look for cascade opportunities where removing one pair immediately frees another
- When you have a choice, remove pairs that free up more cards rather than pairs that don't
