How to Play Thirty Nine Steps Solitaire

Build all cards to the foundations while arranging tableau piles in descending order by suit. You have one pass through the stock.
Setup
- Deal 3 cards to each of 13 tableau piles.
- Place 4 foundation piles above (one for each suit).
- The remaining stock goes to the side.
How to play
- Click the stock to deal 1 card at a time to the waste pile.
- Move the top card from any tableau pile or the waste pile to a foundation (if it continues a suit sequence from Ace up).
- In the tableau, build piles in descending order by suit (e.g., 5♠ goes on 6♠).
- Only the top card of each tableau pile can be moved.
- Empty tableau spaces can be filled with any available card.
- The app automatically moves a card to the foundation once no other card can be built on it; you can change this in Settings.
- When the stock runs out, you're done (no redeal).
How to win
Objective: Move every card to the foundations, building each suit from Ace to King.
Win by moving all cards to the foundations. You lose when you run out of stock and can't continue.
Tips
- Free up Aces as soon as you can—they're the only card that starts a foundation pile.
- Use empty spaces strategically to rearrange tableau cards before the stock runs out.
- All tableau cards are dealt face up, so study the whole layout before you commit to a move.
