Yukon
How to Play Triple Yukon Solitaire

Using three shuffled decks across thirteen piles, this Yukon relative buries cards deeply and rewards flexible group moves that dig out what's hidden below, feeding twelve foundations as you go. The goal: Move all cards to the foundations in ascending order by suit
Setup
- Use three full decks (156 cards total)
- Build 13 tableau piles with a staircase pattern: each pile gets 6 face-up cards on top, with a growing number of face-down cards underneath (none in pile 1, up to 12 in pile 13)
- Set up 12 foundation piles (one per suit, three of each)
How to play
- Build foundations from Ace up to King in the same suit
- On the tableau, place a card one rank lower and opposite color onto another
- Move any group of face-up cards together, even if they're not in order—only the bottom card needs to fit where it lands
- When you move a group, any face-down cards beneath are turned face up
- Only a King can start a new tableau pile
- When a card in the tableau cannot be built on anything, it moves to the foundation automatically
How to win
Objective: Move all cards to the foundations in ascending order by suit
You win when all cards are in the foundations. The game ends when no legal moves remain.
Tips
- Use the flexible group-move rule to unlock face-down cards strategically
- Moving non-sequential groups can sometimes expose helpful buried cards
- Prioritize uncovering face-down cards early in the game
