Yukon
How to Play Double Yukon Solitaire

A two-deck variant where face-down cards reveal themselves as you work through the tableau. Build down in opposite color and move any group of face-up cards together.
Setup
- Eight foundation piles start empty, ready for Aces
- Ten tableau piles are dealt in a staggered pattern: the first has 5 face-up cards, and each pile after that has 6 face-up cards on top of a growing stack of face-down cards (1 face-down card in the second pile, up to 9 in the last)
- This pyramid deal ensures many cards start hidden but gradually reveal as you move cards above them
- No stock pile—all cards are in the tableau or foundations
How to play
- Move any group of exposed face-up cards from one tableau pile to another, building down in opposite color (move a red card onto a black card of the next rank, or vice versa)
- You can move unsequenced groups of face-up cards—only the bottom card must fit the destination
- When a face-down card becomes the top of its pile, it flips over automatically
- Cards automatically move to the foundations once no other card can be built on them—this behavior is adjustable in Settings
- Empty tableau piles can only be filled with a King or a group headed by a King
How to win
Objective: Move all 104 cards to the eight foundations, building each suit from Ace to King.
All 104 cards reach the eight foundations. You're stuck if no legal moves remain.
Tips
- Expose face-down cards early to open up your strategic options
- Take advantage of the ability to move unsequenced groups—this gives you flexibility to arrange cards for building foundations
- Create empty tableau piles by carefully moving Kings; they're your most powerful tool for reorganizing
