Spider
How to Play Gypsy Solitaire

A two-deck game combining Spider and Klondike elements. Eight tableau piles start with only their top card face up, and you draw from the stock once to add cards to all piles. Build foundations by suit from Ace to King.
Setup
- Deal 8 tableau piles with 3 cards each; only the top card of each pile is face-up
- Create 8 empty foundation piles (two for each of the four suits, since two decks are in play)
- Set aside the remaining deck as the stock
How to play
- Build tableau piles downward: place a card one rank lower and opposite color on top of another
- Move opposite-color sequences together: drag a valid run of descending opposite-color cards onto a lower card
- Cards move to the foundations automatically once nothing else can be built on them (you can change this behavior in Settings)
- Fill empty tableau piles with any card or valid sequence
- Click the stock at any time to deal one card onto each of the eight tableau piles
- You have one pass through the stock only (no redeal)
How to win
Objective: Build eight foundation piles in suit from Ace to King
Move all 104 cards to the eight foundation piles in proper suit sequences. The game ends when the stock is exhausted and no more moves are possible.
Tips
- Expose face-down cards by clearing tableau tops before dealing from the stock
- Don't rush cards to foundations; keep them on the tableau longer to create moves
- Plan carefully to set up matches on the tableau before drawing more stock cards
