How to Play Beehive Solitaire

A Storehouse variant where you match cards by rank alone, building identical-rank stacks in the tableau. A 10-card reserve provides access to buried cards, while the stock deals three cards at a time.
Setup
- The tableau has six piles, each starting with one card.
- A reserve pile holds 10 cards face down, with only the top card visible.
- A stock deals cards three at a time to a waste pile.
- Thirteen foundation piles, one for each rank, each accept a complete four-card set of that rank, moved together.
How to play
- In the tableau, place a card of the same rank on top of another card (any suit).
- You can move single cards or entire runs of matching-rank cards together.
- The reserve shows only its top card, which can play to the tableau or foundations.
- Click the stock to deal three cards to the waste pile.
- The top card of the waste pile is available to play.
- When the stock empties, click it again to turn the waste pile back over and redeal (no shuffling).
- When a tableau pile empties, any card can fill it.
- Complete four-card sets automatically move to the foundations once no other card can be built on them—you can change this in Settings.
How to win
Objective: Gather all four cards of each rank together and move each complete set to its foundation.
You win when all 52 cards are on the foundations as 13 complete four-card sets, one per rank.
Tips
- Plan which tableau columns will hold each rank—mixing ranks makes it harder to complete sets.
- Use the reserve strategically to access cards you need from beneath it.
- You can redeal the waste unlimited times, so patience and planning go a long way.
