How to Play Aunt Mary Solitaire

A challenging solitaire where you build complete sequences on six tableau piles instead of the usual seven. All cards are dealt face-up from the start, giving you better visibility but less tableau space to maneuver.
Setup
- Four foundation piles are laid out for building by suit
- Six tableau piles receive all remaining cards dealt across them
- The stock pile sits to the side with a waste pile next to it
How to play
- Move cards to the foundations in ascending suit order (Ace through King)
- In the tableau, build downward in alternating colors (red on black, black on red)
- Click the stock to reveal one card at a time to the waste pile; only the top waste card is playable
- Groups of cards in the tableau can be moved together if each card is one rank lower (alternating color) than the card it covers
- Only a King (alone or with cards on top) can move into an empty tableau pile
- Cards automatically move to the foundations once there are no more tableau moves available for them
How to win
Objective: Build all four foundation piles by suit from Ace to King.
You win when all 52 cards are built onto the four foundation piles. You're stuck when no more moves are available and the stock is exhausted.
Tips
- Plan carefully before moving cards—you don't get to reuse the stock once it's gone
- Empty tableau piles are valuable because only Kings can fill them; preserve empty spaces for blocking cards
- Prioritize revealing cards from the stock early to see all available plays
