Baker's Dozen
How to Play Winery Solitaire

A large-tableau game inspired by Vineyard with added flexibility from two temporary storage cells. You build both the foundations and the tableau while managing the flow of cards through these strategic holding areas.
Setup
- Two cells are dealt one card each at the start—the rest of the deck is dealt across ten tableau piles
- Cells hold one card at a time; a card can only move into a cell once that cell is empty
- Four foundation piles start empty—an Ace placed there begins each one
How to play
- Play cards from the tableau or cells to the foundations
- In the tableau, place a card one rank lower and opposite color on any card (a red 6 on a black 7)
- Only the top card of each tableau pile can be moved
- Move any card to an empty cell for temporary storage
- Empty tableau piles can receive any card
- Cards that can no longer be built on in the tableau or cells automatically move to the foundations—you can change this in the settings if you prefer
- Cells are only one card each, so use them strategically when you need to free up blocked cards
How to win
Objective: Move every card to the four foundation piles, building each from Ace to King in the same suit.
You win when all cards are in the foundations. You're stuck when you run out of legal moves.
Tips
- The two cells are limited resources—avoid filling them with cards you could move elsewhere
- Keep empty tableau piles available by moving cards to the cells when necessary
- Plan ahead: a full tableau with full cells is often a dead end, so maintain flexibility
