Pyramid
How to Play Triangle Solitaire

An inverted pyramid pairing game where you remove pairs of cards that total 13 or single Kings from a seven-row pyramid. Deal from the stock to access more cards.
Setup
- A seven-row pyramid with one card at the top, two in the second row, continuing to seven in the bottom row, arranged so each row overlaps the one above.
- The stock holds remaining cards to be dealt one at a time.
- Two waste piles hold cards dealt from the stock, and the top card of either is available for pairing.
How to play
- A pyramid card is playable only once no card in the row below it still covers it—the seven-card bottom row starts fully exposed, and the single top card becomes available last, once everything under it is cleared.
- Drag one exposed card onto another to form a pair totaling 13: A pairs with Q (1+12), 2 with J (2+11), 3 with 10, etc.
- Kings (value 13) can be removed by themselves without a partner.
- Click the stock to deal one card to a waste pile, or pair the stock's top card directly with an exposed pyramid card without dealing it first.
- The top card of either waste pile can also be paired with an available pyramid card.
- Matched pairs and cleared Kings go to the discard pile once you complete the move.
- The stock has only one pass—when empty, you cannot redeal.
How to win
Objective: Remove all cards from the pyramid by matching pairs that sum to 13, or removing single Kings.
You win when the pyramid is completely clear. You're stuck when unmatched cards remain in the pyramid and stock.
Tips
- Work toward uncovering the single top card—it stays blocked until every card beneath it in the pyramid is cleared.
- Look ahead in the stock to plan which cards you'll need to pair.
- Kings are valuable for clearing without needing a partner.
