Forty Thieves
How to Play Barricade B Solitaire

A challenging two-deck variant of Barricade where you build the foundations in suit order instead of any-suit, and you can't play cards directly from the stock. This creates a block-like puzzle where nearly all of your moves rearrange the fourteen tableau piles.
Setup
- Eight foundation piles are created (one per suit, two of each suit from the two decks)
- Fourteen tableau piles receive 2 cards each, all face-up
- The stock sits to the side but is not playable during the game
How to play
- Build the foundations up in suit order from Ace to King, twice per suit
- In the tableau, stack cards in descending order by alternating color (red on black, black on red)
- Only the top card of each tableau pile can move at a time
- You cannot play cards directly from the stock—use tableau rearrangement exclusively
- Empty tableau piles are automatically refilled with the top stock card
- Cards automatically move to the foundations once there are no more tableau moves available for them
How to win
Objective: Move all 104 cards to eight foundations by building in suit order.
You win when all 104 cards are built onto the eight foundation piles. You're stuck when no legal moves remain.
Tips
- Plan your tableau moves carefully—you can't draw from the stock yourself, so every move must be deliberate
- Keep tableau piles organized into alternating-color sequences so you always know what's playable next
- Remember you need two of each suit completed, so balance your foundation building
