How to Play Auld Lang Syne Solitaire

Move all cards to the foundations in ascending any-suit sequences, using four reserve piles where only the top card of each is playable. Success depends almost entirely on the luck of the deal.
Setup
- Four foundation piles are started with one card each at the beginning
- Four reserve piles each receive one card face-up
- Remaining cards are dealt from the stock one at a time onto the four reserve piles during play
How to play
- Click the stock to deal one card onto each reserve pile
- Move the top card of any reserve pile to a foundation if it builds the sequence (one rank higher, any suit, starting with Aces)
- Top cards in reserve piles cannot be moved to other reserve piles—only to foundations
- Reserve piles don't accept cards built onto them; each one is only a holding spot for its top card
- If a reserve pile empties, it stays empty for the rest of the game
- Once the stock runs out, you cannot redeal
How to win
Objective: Build all 52 cards onto the four foundation piles in ascending any-suit sequences starting from Ace.
You win when all 52 cards are on the four foundations. You lose when no more moves are possible.
Tips
- Pay close attention to which cards are buried in reserve piles
- Since cards can only move to foundations, think ahead about card order
- This game is notoriously difficult—patience and luck matter more than strategy
