How to Play Queen Victoria Solitaire

Queen Victoria takes King Albert and adds one big convenience: whole sequences of cards can move together instead of one at a time, which makes the tableau far easier to untangle. The goal: Move all 52 cards to the 4 foundation piles.
Setup
- Place one face-up reserve pile with 7 cards.
- Set up 4 foundation piles (starting empty).
- Deal 1 card to the first tableau pile, 2 to the second, 3 to the third, and so on through 9 piles (all face up).
How to play
- Build foundations upward in suit from Ace through King.
- Build tableau piles downward in alternating colors (red on black, black on red).
- Move a sequence of cards together when each card is one rank lower and opposite color.
- Any card or sequence can fill an empty tableau pile.
- Play only the top card from the reserve to a foundation or tableau.
- Expose reserve cards one at a time to play them.
- Cards automatically move to the foundations once no other card could be built on them (you can change this behavior in Settings).
How to win
Objective: Move all 52 cards to the 4 foundation piles.
You win when all cards reach the foundations. The ability to move sequences gives you much more flexibility than King Albert.
Tips
- Preserve empty tableau piles as maneuvering spaces.
- Move sequences to the tableau before sending individual cards to foundations.
- The reserve cards come in a fixed order, so plan ahead for the ones you'll see later.
