Yukon
How to Play Moosehide Solitaire

A Yukon variant where tableau building requires different suits instead of opposite colors, and you can freely move any group of face-up cards together—creating puzzle-like rearrangement challenges. The goal: Build all 52 cards onto four foundation piles in suit from Ace to King.
Setup
- One standard deck is shuffled (52 cards).
- Four foundation piles are placed to collect cards by suit.
- Seven tableau piles are created with a stair-step deal: the first pile gets 1 card face up. Each of piles two through seven gets an increasing run of face-down cards (1 up to 6) followed by 5 more cards face up, giving pile sizes of 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11.
How to play
- Move cards from the tableau to the foundations, building up in suit from Ace to King.
- In the tableau, build down by rank onto any card of a different suit, regardless of color (an 8♠ can take a 7♣, 7♦, or 7♥, but not another 7♠).
- Move any group of face-up cards together, even if they're not in order—only the bottom card of the group needs to fit on its destination.
- Fill empty tableau piles only with Kings or sequences starting with Kings.
- When a card no longer fits in the tableau, it moves to the foundations automatically (you can adjust this in Settings).
How to win
Objective: Build all 52 cards onto four foundation piles in suit from Ace to King.
You win when all cards are built onto the four foundations. You're stuck when no more cards can move and the tableau is locked.
Tips
- Expose face-down cards by moving sequences strategically.
- Create empty tableau piles when you have Kings available, since they're the only way to reuse spaces.
- Look for chains of different-suit moves that unlock multiple face-down cards at once.
