How to Play Flower Garden Solitaire

A classic game where all the cards are dealt face-up from the start, though only the top card of the Bouquet reserve is ever in play. The goal: Build all four foundations up by suit from Ace to King.
Setup
- Six piles of six cards each (the Flower Beds) are dealt face-up in columns
- The remaining 16 cards form the Bouquet reserve, with only the top card available to play
- Four foundation piles start empty, waiting for Aces
How to play
- Play the top card of the Bouquet, or the top card of any Flower Bed, to the foundations (Aces start a pile, then build up by suit)
- Once a card in the Flower Beds has no other cards it can be built on, it moves automatically to a foundation pile (you can change this in Settings)
- Build down by one rank, any suit, on the Flower Beds; only the top card of each pile can be moved
- Any card can fill an empty Flower Bed
- Once you play the top Bouquet card, the next card underneath becomes available to play
- Continue until all cards move to the foundations or no more moves are possible
How to win
Objective: Build all four foundations up by suit from Ace to King.
You win when all 52 cards are built onto the four foundations. You're stuck when no Bouquet or Flower Bed card can reach the foundations and no Flower Bed moves remain.
Tips
- You must play the Bouquet's top card before you can reach the one beneath it, so think ahead about when to use it
- Keep an eye on which Flower Bed cards you'll need soon, and avoid burying them deeper
- Empty Flower Beds accept any card, so clearing one gives you a flexible landing spot
